At the end of the landscape/hardscape season there's usually a project or two that stand out. As a seasonal business, we have time over the winter to look back at our work year and reminisce about all the great projects and all the great customers we have had the pleasure of completing projects for. This particular project was significant because the homeowner had a bad experience with a previous contractor. The details are not important, the point is, the homeowner was rather conservative this time around in choosing a quality contractor. We did the dance. What about this stone. Can we see a sample? What about this colour with this colour, and so on and so on.
This is the way most projects progress and it's always nice working with a homeowner that enjoys the process. And shouldn't it be enjoyable? If it's not, maybe you should be working with a different contractor, sorry, shameless plug. In the end, the decision was made to go with Unilock, iL Campo and Brussels Block/Unigranite banding. As you can see from the pictures below, the transformation is significant. The yard was transformed from a muddy unusable area to a nice walkway and patio area. Planting will be completed in the spring.
